Daily Schedule for Age Group 3-5

Chinese Immersion Summer Camp 2017
Monday – Friday 6/5 – 8/4/2017

Extended Hours 7:00 – 9:00 AM

8:50 – 9:00 AM - sign in

9:00 – 9:25 AM – Mandarin Chinese learning and working with greetings,  numbers and simple math.

9:25 – 9:50 AM – Activities on learning vocabularies about and practicing sentences with body parts, colors, clothing, family members, animals, food and etc.

9:50 – 10:15 AM Snack time

10:15 – 10:35 AM  Simple Characters tracing and picture coloring. .

10:35 – 10:50 AM Story time

10:50– 11:20 AM Play time

11:20 – 11:50 AM review what have learned in the morning.

11:50 AM – 12:00 PM Clean Up Time

12:00 PM Half day campers pick-up

12:00 – 1:00 PM Lunch Break/ Chinese Movies/Play Time

12:45 – 1:00 PM Afternoon camp sign in

1:00 – 1:30 PM Origami , and play dough.

1:30 – 1:55 PM play kitchen/food/family – make stories with toys.

1:55 – 2:10 PM Snack time

2:10 – 2:35 Easy science experiments.

2:35 – 2:50 PM Chinese songs, dance, and exercise.

2:50 – 3:00 PM Clean Up time

3:00 PM Full day campers pick-up

9:00 – 9:50 AM Mandarin Chinese classes focus on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.  Curriculum lines up with YCT & HSK (International Chinese Standard Tests)

9:50 – 10:00 AM Break Time

10:00 – 10:50 AM Mandarin Chinese classes focus on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.  Curriculum lines up with YCT & HSK (International Chinese Standard Tests)

10:50 – 11:00 AM Break Time

11:00 am – 12:00 PM Chinese Language &Culture/Math Abacus

12:00 PM Morning Campers Pick-Up

12:00 – 12:30 PM Lunch Break

12:30 - 1:15 PM Conversioanl Chinese

1:15 – 2:00 PM Chinese culture/calligraphy/crafts/folk dance/martial arts

2:00 – 2:50 PM Singapore Math/Abacus (Campers will be divided into groups with their meth levels.)

2:50 – 3:00 PM Clean-Up Time

3:00 PM Full Day Campers Pick-Up

Extended Hours : 3:00 – 6:00 PM.

Campers Need to Bring

1.  Monday - Thursday, snacks, lunch, water or soft drink.

2. Fridays – Drink and snack. We provide Chinese dumplings (Wrappers: all-purpose flower and water; Fillings: ground beef or eggs & rice noodles, vegetables, mushrooms, vegetable oil, soy source and seasonings).

3. Sleeping bag or blanket for movie/relaxing time.

 

We provide learning materials for the classes. We also provide Chinese costumes for the end session performance (July 31, 2015). However, campers may purchase textbook/workbooks as needed. For the clay arts class, campers need to bring their own clay or play dough.
